Kilmallock Cycling Hub Tour

About the Tour:

The 2nd Annual Kilmallock Cycling Hub Tour will take place on Sunday April 17th where we hope to continue to highlight the Hub cycle routes around the Kilmallock region. Following on from the success of last years tour & the feedback received on the challenging nature of the route, we are delighted to annouce that the routes will again be the same as last years where we cross into 3 different counties and take in scenary from the Ballyhoura and Galtee Mountains. The Hub Experience is designed for the regular cyclists and will be 60Km in distance and will be mostly flat terrain, The Hub Challenge is designed for Cycling Entusiasts and regular Sportif/Tour participants, it will be 120Km in distance and is not for the faint hearted with 5 climbs in beautiful scenary, we are sure that it will be a challenge for any cyclist.

We are also delighted with the response which we have gotten from last years sponsors and we have secured their support again for this years event, the talk of last years tour was the pig on a spit waiting for cyclists upon their return to Kilmallock provided and superbly cooked by O'Sullivans Butchers, include this with the warm showers in Kilmalock GAA Complex and it was smiles all round for the cyclists. The club would like to thank all our sponsors for their support again this year without their support the success of the tour would not be possible.

Sign On for this years toour will take place on Saturday 16th between 6:00pm & 8:00pm @ Kilmallock GAA Complex and also @ 7:30am on Sunday 17th. Once signed in Cyclists will gather @ the new library building where the starting flag will be lowered to the 2nd annual Kilmallock Cycling Hub Tourwhere the official opening of the Cycling Hub will take place.
